Soekris Engineering, Inc. has been proudly designing and manufacturing reliable, robust, superior quality communications computers for over 10 years.

Soekris strives to be environmentally friendly. We recycle or source recycled packaging whenever possible, and our products are designed to consume minimal power. We like being “Soekris Green” and we’re currently working towards becoming a Certified Green Business.

About our products

Soekris is proud of our family of products. We believe quality begins at the design level, and continues throughout inventory control, manufacturing, testing, assembly, and order fulfillment. All Soekris boards are designed to be efficient, both in form factor and power consumption. Cost is minimized through design efficiency rather than skimping on components or processes. We encourage you to take a closer look at any of our boards and notice the difference. Our boards and cases are proudly made in Silicon Valley, USA, and we’ve been working closely with the same local contract manufacturer and enclosure manufacturer since we started in 2001. This allows us to better manage product quality, as well as respond quickly to customer needs, whether a large volume order or a customized board and/or case.

We are pleased to announce that we have an updated net6501 BIOS that includes the long-awaited USB boot code. Please visit our Downloads page if you have existing net6501 boards and need to download the BIOS update. All boards shipping now have been updated with the new BIOS.

Also, we are now selling Sandisk Cruzer Fit USB drives, which deliver the high quality you expect from Sandisk in a low profile design that's a perfect fit inside the net6501 board and case. They are currently available on our website in 4GB, 8GB, and 16 GB sizes.
