The 1U 19" rackmount case and cables for two hard drives are in stock and ready to ship. You can also purchase a spare (or replacement) power supply if you wish.
We recommend using mSATA SSD for booting, and have in stock and ready to order the Intel 30GB MLC mSATA SSD.
There is support for booting on low cost USB Flash Sticks. They must be low profile to fit inside the standard case. We recommend the Sandisk Cruzer Fit, and have 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB versions in stock and ready to order. As with all low cost Flash media, they should be used Read Only, or with limited number of writes over time.
Any 2.5" SATA HD and SSD should work, please be aware that some of the cheap SSD drives are crappy, but are fine if used Read Only.
FreeBSD 8.2, OpenBSD and Linux 3.0.0 have all been tested to be working well.
Any software needs to be new enough to support the Intel 82574 ethernet controllers.
